BACOLOD CITY – A man died and his wife was wounded after they were shot by two men who robbed a store at Concepcion Public Market in Zone 4, Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Monday, October 2.
Police identified the fatality as Ildefonso Medalla, of Barangay Concepcion. Wounded was his wife Denalyn.

Ildefonso died on the spot while his wife sustained a bullet wound and was referred to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here where she is in stable condition.Onio said the robbers gained entry into the store by destroying its padlock using a bolt cutter.
