A man in a remote Queensland town has incredibly driven to a neighbour's property to call for help after he suffered several broken bones when he was run over by his tractor.
The man is believed to have been working on his property in Kandanga, about 30 kilometres from Gympie, at about 6:30am on Thursday when his tractor rolled.
Despite suffering from a broken pelvis and several fractured ribs, the man managed to climb back into the tractor, start it up again and drive to a nearby property. Offer ends 31 October, 2023 >“A rescue helicopter has been tasked for a patient who sustained injuries during an incident involving a tractor at a private address around 6.30am,” a statement from Queensland Ambulance said.
“It's believed the man, aged in his 40s, was working on his property when the tractor rolled, throwing him from the vehicle, which then drove over his legs and abdomen.
