Members of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Payatas Bagong Silangan Station (PS 13) arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Barangay Payatas on Monday, July 17. READ:
According to the police report, a witness saw Destiada take the motorcycle owned by Marvin Baradillo outside their house at Phase 3, Block 7 Lot 305, Barangay Payatas at around 3:30 a.m.
The witness said she tried to stop the suspect but Destiada managed to escape on board the said motorcycle.PS 13 operatives immediately conducted a follow-up operation and arrested the suspect in front of a vacant lot at Phase 3, Block 7, Barangay Payatas.The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 10883 or the Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, police said.
