Scammers are everywhere.
A young man recently attempted to buy a RM94 cake using a fake Touch ‘n Go eWallet receipt.The shop also urged the young man to pay in full; otherwise, a police report would be made.The post went viral and was hotly talked about by netizens.
However, when the shop owner checked the CCTV footage, it was discovered that the man had shown a fake TnG payment page. He said the company was taken aback when it checked the CCTV and saw the customer editing the receipt of the Touch-to-Go e-wallet very quickly. The shop received a payment of RM100 through TnG.
