A man is facing murder and arson charges following a Brampton house fire that killed his elderly roommate earlier this week.

Emergency personnel performed life-saving measures, but the victim — 80-year-old Anthony Ambrose — died of his injuries a short time later. The victim’s roommate, 26-year-old Julius Adigun, has been charged with second-degree murder and arson endangering life.This remains an ongoing investigation.
