A male died after being stabbed and falling off a motorcycle in Tondo, Manila . CCTV footage from Tayuman Street shows a motorcycle suddenly going counterflow. After a while, the backrider falls off, but the rider doesn't return. It took over half an hour for the rescue team to arrive and take the victim to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had been stabbed.
'Dead on arrival so our investigator went there at the hospital to investigate and it was learned that this victim was stabbed in front of a bar near Pritil,' said Police Captain Dennis Turla, Manila Police District Homicide Section chief. According to police, the victim's friend was the rider who abandoned him because they were being chased by the suspect. CCTV footage outside the bar shows the victim about to get on the motorcycle. However, a man in white running suddenly stabs the victim in the chest. The police conducted a follow-up operation and arrested the suspect at a computer shop in Tondo. The suspect admitted to his crime but said he was just avenging his brother who was allegedly beaten by the victim. He also said he didn't expect the man to die. He is now afraid because there are threats against his family's life. 'My mother visited me here because they said my brother was in a difficult situation because there were threats that if they saw my brother, that's what would happen to him, even any member of my family,' the suspect said. However, the victim's family vehemently denied this. 'We didn't threaten him, we didn't say anything bad against him. We are just thankful that he was arrested quickly and that the police responded quickly,' said the victim's mother
