A 66-year-old Kelowna man died Sunday afternoon after his car was involved in a single-vehicle collision off Highway 97 near the Kelowna International Airport.
The vehicle had been southbound when it veered off the travel portion of the highway and collided with a traffic sign, after which it struck the tree. B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics were nearby and arrived on scene shortly after the collision and found the driver in cardiac arrest.
