‘Malungkot tayo’: Duremdes, Pacquiao to discuss MPBL moving to another network ABSCBNfranchise
MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes will meet with founder Manny Pacquiao on Monday to discuss the league's future.
"Regarding sa new TV network, iyon ang idi-discuss natin. Definitely, we will look for another network. Hindi nabigyan ng franchise ang network natin so wala, malungkot tayo. It's not in our hands anymore," said Duremdes. Duremdes said the league will be forced to proceed even without TV coverage as their block time deal with ABS-CBN expired last March.
The commissioner said that even Pacquiao was closely monitoring the congressional hearings of the ABS-CBN franchise.
