The Malabon City government is offering P200,000 reward money for anyone who could arrest or give the identification of the suspect behind the killing of a city police last Wednesday.
PSSgt. Orland Lucky Boy de Leon, 32, was peppered with bullets by a lone motorcycle-riding gunman at around 6:45 p.m. while he was on his way home on board his motorcycle along Araneta Ave., in Barangay Potrero, Malabon. He died on the spot.
Bong Padua, chief public information officer, said that “Mayor Lenlen Oreta has offered the reward for the identification or capture of the killer.” Padua told Manila Bulletin that de Leon had helped the local government through his service as an anti-narcotics police in addressing the presence of illegal drugs in the city.
