BDO Securities Corp., the brokerage arm of BDO Unibank Inc., is encouraging investors to make investment decisions based on “sound research” and not be swayed by superstitions during the Chinese Ghost Month, which runs through September 15.
The Ghost Month is an annual observance and is often associated with cautious behaviors and superstitions that affect financial markets. BDO Securities said a down or flat market still provides investors with decent returns and should not be a reason for them to stay on the sidelines.
