“Mayor Abby Binay is a highly respected and multi-awarded chief executive. We must not forget that she is also a veteran legislator having served as one of the Representatives of the City of Makati,” sabi ni Duavit sa GMA News Online.Huling termino na ni Binay bilang alkalde ng Makati, at kabilang siya sa posibleng maging pambato ng NPC sa senatorial race sa 2025 elections.Nagpahayag ng interes si Nancy na tumakbo namang alkalde ng Makati.''The midterm election is still a year away.
Sa kaniyang sulat sa pamunuan ng partido, inihayag ni Garcia sa kaniyang pagbibitiw ang reklamong isinampa laban sa kaniya ng kapartido na si Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama. Una rito, naglabas ng memorandum si Garcia noong Pebrero para sa CBRT team dahil “bus stations that will be built along Osmeña Boulevard right in front of the Capitol Building will have a negative impact on the cultural integrity of the building.”
