Makati LGU to close vax site for 2022 Bar exams

The Makati City local government announced on Thursday, Feb. 3, that it will suspend the operation of one of its vaccination sites due to the 2022 Bar examinations to be held on Friday, Feb. 4, and Sunday, Feb. 6.

In a Facebook post, the local government unit said that it will close the Fort Bonifacio Elementary School vaccination site to give way to the Bar examinations at the University of Makati.On Jan. 14, the Supreme Court said that it will move the dates of the bar examinations to a later date due to the high number of examinees who are either infected, living with someone who has COVID-19, or in quarantine due to exposure.On Wednesday, the Department of Health detected 7,661 new COVID-19 cases.

Among the active cases, 149,829 are mild; 5,575 have no symptoms; 3,056 are moderate; 1,521 are severe; and 316 are in critical condition.
