The city government of Makati yesterday donated P1 million in cash to the local government of Davao de Oro, which was affected by a weather disturbance earlier this year.

“Through this financial support, we hope to alleviate the burden of our fellow local government unit in recovery and rehabilitation,” she added. Aside from Davao de Oro, three other disaster-stricken municipalities in Mindanao, which were affected by weather disturbances late last year, will also receive financial assistance from Makati.
