Makati City’s active COVID-19 cases surpass 1,000-mark

The city joined other cities in Metro Manila that have breached the 1,000-mark due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus brought about by the Omicron variant.

The Makati city government announced that its active coronavirus disease cases have surpassed the 1,000-mark with 1, 044 cases new cases recorded on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 998 cases on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

For District 2, Brgy. Pembo had 54 active cases, followed by West Rembo with 38, and Guadalupe Viejo with 34. Brgy. PP Northside in District 2 logged zero active case on Jan. 13, followed by PP Southside with three cases, and Pinagkaisahan with seven cases.
