The Makati City government announced several road closures in relation to its Makati Christmas Celebration to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
According to the city government, the Makati Public Safety Department will implement the road closures and alternative routes from 3:00 p.m. onwards.– From Dr. Jose P. Rizal Ave./ F. Zobel St. straight to N. Garcia St.– Then right turn to residential streetThe city government also reminded the public that parking of vehicles at the Makati City Hall Quadrangle, F. Zobel St., E. Zobel St., Angono St., Osmeña St., Ma. Aurora St., Cardona St., Buencamino St., Morong/Baras St. , and Zenaida St.
Aside from the celebration, a Christmas concert, through the Makati Cultural Affairs Office, will be held featuring the Manila Symphony Orchestra, Choral Society of Makati, and the Makati City Youth Orchestra at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and will be attended by Makati City Mayor Abby Binay and other city officials.
