A majority of Filipinos are still worried that anyone in their immediate family might catch Covid-19 despite being hopeful that the worst of the pandemic is over in the country, the April 2022 Social Weather Stations survey revealed.

Worry about Covid-19 infection remained high since May 2020, despite 83 percent of Filipinos in April 2022 believing that the 'worst of the pandemic is behind us'.Compared to the previous year, the hope that the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic is over was 33 percent more and was nearly twice as high as the 44 percent reported when the pollster first asked the question in May 2020.Meanwhile, there was also 16 percent of respondents who fear that 'the worst is yet to come.
