7 billion, involved elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in collaboration with the Department of Justice and the National Prosecution Service. \The illegal shipment originated from Karachi, Pakistan, and was falsely declared as containing Crispo vermicelli and Rafhan custard sauce. It was shipped under the guise of Ayan Enterprise/Trading & Logistics and was destined for Red Shinting Consumer Goods Trading based in Las Piñas City. He identified Oscar Campo Berba as the consignee, working in tandem with Customs brokers Kevin Lee and Richard Perlado Aguantar. Karen Villaflor Sacro, the chairman, and Rey Baysa Gujilde, the president, of the freight forwarding company, were also apprehended. The suspects are currently facing inquest proceedings at the DOJ and are expected to be charged under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
