MANILA - A magnitude 5 quake struck waters off Bohol and Leyte provinces on Sunday morning, the state seismological agency said.
The quake's epicenter was located in the Bohol Sea, 36 kilometers west of Limasawa, Southern Leyte, said the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology.
The tremor was felt as intensity 3 in Cebu City, Mambajao and Camiguin and intensity 2 in Palo, Leyte, said Phivolcs. The quake was also felt in Bogo City, Lapu-Lapu City, Argao City, Tagbilaran City, Ormoc City and as far as Cagayan De Oro City, the agency said.
