MANILA—A 5-magnitude earthquake struck off Northern Samar province early Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Intensity 3 was recorded in Virac in Catanduanes while Intensity 2 was felt in Legazpi City in Albay and Sorsogon City.
Instrumental intensity 1 was also reported in Daet in Camarines Norte, Pili in Camarines Sur, Borongan City in Eastern Samar and Cebu City.
