Actor Robin Padilla and the other “magic 12” senatorial candidates remain unmoved from their spots in the ongoing tally of votes being conducted by the Commission on Elections .In the latest tally released Tuesday, May 17, by the Comelec sitting as the National Board of Canvassers , Padilla, candidate of the Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan , is still on the top spot as he received 26,494,737 votes.

Aside from Padilla, the standings in the other top 12 senatorial candidates remain unchanged compared to the tally sheet released by the Comelec on Monday, May 16. The tally sheet released Tuesday showed that Padilla is followed at second and third spots by Deputy House Speaker Loren Legarda and independent candidate and media personality Raffy Tulfo with 24,183,946 and 23,345,261 votes, respectively.

The other senatorial candidates in “magic 12” are Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian with 20,547,045 ; Sorsogon Chiz Escudero with 20,240,923 ; former Public Works Sec. Mark Villar with 19,402,685 ; Taguig-Pateros District Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano with 19,262,353 ; Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri with 18,663,253 ; Sen. Joel Villanueva with 18,439,806 ; former Sen. JV Ejercito with 15,803,416 ; Sen. Risa Hontiveros with 15,385,566 and former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada with 15,071,213 .

Meanwhile, the Comelec is set to proclaim all 12 winning senatorial candidates this Wednesday, May 18.
