Gerard Raymond Talusan Yu , the prime suspect in the Edsa- Ayala shooting incident on May 28, 2024 was presented to the media at Camp Crame on May 29. Mendoza also said the LTO issued a show cause order against the suspect and directed him to submit a notarized affidavit on why he should not be penalized.Yu is currently under police custody as the offense was non-bailable.Mendoza said the registered owner of the black Mercedes Benz used by Yu will be asked to explain why the suspect drove the vehicle and had two different license plates, a green plate with number BCS 77 and the other a white plate with number DAB 9670.
