LTO said a seminar would be held on Tuesday for public utility vehicle drivers and conductors as part of the agency’s road safety campaign for the Holy Week.
LTO chief Jose Arturo Tugade said the agency would focus on the road safety and roadworthiness of PUVs, adding that they would also inspect land transportation terminals and provide assistance to motorists. The LTO will also conduct random drug testing among PUV drivers and conductors. “We also ask for the public’s cooperation in being careful and obeying traffic laws for smooth travel this year,” Tugade said.
