A Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office head in Metro Manila is facing disciplinary action for the alleged fraudulent registration of a truck involved in a fatal accident. LTO chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II, is demanding an explanation from the official regarding the truck's registration without necessary roadworthiness inspections. The case stems from a December 6th accident on Skyway At-Grade Southbound where the Isuzu Wing Van allegedly experienced brake malfunction, causing a chain of collisions.
