The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has extended the validity of expired student permits, driver’s license, conductor’s licenses as well as medical certificates until the end of the month.

In an advisory, the LTO said the validity of the said documents which have expired in the months of August and September are extended until October 31, 2022. The agency also extended the validity of registration of any vehicle plate ending in “8” until October 31, 2022.The LTO said the extension was implemented in consideration for those affected by Typhoon Karding and the continuous rise in COVID-19 cases in the country.
