MANILA, Philippines — Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), private operator of LRT-1, temporarily limited operations on the train line on Wednesday morning due to an electrical fault detected near Baclaran.

In its advisory issued at 9 a.m., LRMC said trains were currently running only between Gil Puyat Station and Fernando Poe Jr. Station , both northbound and southbound.
'Our Engineering Team is actively addressing an electrical fault located between Redemptorist-Aseana Station and Baclaran Station,' LRMC said. 'Simultaneously, we are conducting a thorough assessment of our catenary facilities before proceeding with necessary repairs.' The company assured the public that the measures were being taken to ensure the safety and reliability of the LRT-1 system.
