LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation released its 2023 Holy Week schedule with a temporary suspension of LRT-1 operations from 06 April to 09 April 2023 to give way to its annual maintenance activities and necessary upgrades of the system.
The LRT-1 will follow normal operating hours from April 3 to 5, 2023 , having first trips to leave Baclaran and Roosevelt at 4:30am, and the last trips will be at 10:00pm from Baclaran, and 10:15pm from Roosevelt. “The temporary suspension of LRT-1 operations this Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday will allow us to do necessary activities that include annual preventive maintenance works and upgrades to better serve our dear passengers. This is on the back of our commitment in providing safe, reliable, and convenient journey to commuters of LRT-1. We advise the public to plan their trips in advance.” LRMC Chief Operating Officer Rolando J. Paulino III said.
