MANILA, Philippines: Martin Lorenzo has been given a fresh term after he was elected president of the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) for third straight time on Friday, April 5, at the Alabang Golf and Country Club in Muntinlupa City.

MANILA, Philippines: Martin Lorenzo has been given a fresh term after he was elected president of the National Golf Association of the Philippines for third straight time on Friday, April 5, at the Alabang Golf and Country Club in Muntinlupa City.Prior to Friday's election of officers, Lorenzo was voted into the 11-man board of the NGAP . He got the second most votes with 78, behind Vicente Santos of Sta. Lucia Realty, with 79 votes.

'Meanwhile, former Pampanga congressman Juan Miguel 'Mikey' Arroyo only received 27 votes after his more than 40 proxy votes he got were nullified by the Nominees and Election Committee .Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Al Panlilio, who served as vice-president and treasurer during two separate terms with the NGAP, has also been re-elected to the board as he received 77 votes.Arnel Corporal got 76 votes followed by Charleton Sean Gaerlan with 76.
