De La Salle University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran displayed their show of support for ABS-CBN Corp.
by putting on a light show reflecting the network's colors in their respective Manila campuses.
In DLSU's post in its official Facebook page, the university sympathized with the network and its employees affected by the House of Representatives' move to block ABS-CBN's franchise bid. "De La Salle University stands by fellow Filipinos whose livelihoods and access to news and information are heavily affected by the decision of the House of Representatives to deny the franchise of ABS-CBN," the school said it its statement.
"We continue to pray for the enlightenment of our leaders in government and for further vigilance of our people in protecting our democratic space."
