Lola Amour finally dropped their much awaited debut album!
The self-titled debut record took years in the making and features nine tracks, including the previously released “Raining in Manila” and “Namimiss Ko Na.”More songs include “Umiinit,” a James Brown-inspired danceable track, and “Saan Kakapit,” which is a response to “Raining in Manila.
”Lead guitarist Zoe Gonzales said at the album’s listening party, “Walang two songs that sound alike. They’re really spread out, super diverse.”Lola Amour will have a two-stop grand album launch at Circuit Event Grounds on April 13, followed by a trip to Draft Punk, Cebu on April 27. They will be playing a long set featuring previous hits and their new songs from the album.
