Local PPE manufacturers nireklamo ang ibang pagtrato ng FDA sa mga foreign importer

MAYNILA - Mistulang umaaray ang mga local manufacturer ng PPEs sa bansa sa naging hindi parehas umano na pagtrato sa kanila at sa mga dayuhang importer ng medical supplies na nakakopo ng bilyong pisong kontrata sa gobyerno.

“All of the masks that we produce are in compliance with the standards. We were subject to strict compliance for PPE as a medical device. Dapat po nag-comply din sila for the regulatory requirements for medical device which is regulated by the FDA,” ani Carrillo. Ayon kay Carrillo, sa halip na pagtuunan ang mas mahigpit na medical requirements sa pagbili ng mga PPEs, nasentro ang gobyerno sa pagbili ng supplies.
