Voters in long lines under the heat of the sun marked the first few hours of voting in some parts of Antipolo City.
Outside the San Isidro Elementary School in Barangay Dela Paz, those who went out to vote had to join a long line of people queuing almost a hundred meters away from the polling center.
At Lores Elementary School in Barangay San Roque, gubernatorial candidate, Nina Ricci Ynares-Chiongbian and her husband James cast their votes in Precinct number 0317 J of Clustered Precinct 262. In nearby precinct number 263, mayoral candidate and former Antipolo City mayor, Dr. Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares III and his wife, incumbent Mayor Andrea Bautista Ynares, cast their votes at Lores Elementary School around 11 a.m.
