Have you had love bloom – and wilt – while in quarantine?
Bela Padilla has made her own contribution to the anthology of pandemic-era music, sharing a song she wrote about a love that bloomed and wilted under quarantine."I wrote a song that I think perfectly describes what it’s like to be in love and then to fall out of it in a quarantined summer," Bela said in the caption of the song's video, posted on her YouTube channel on September 8.
In the video shot by Kris Cazin, Bela sits at the piano and plays the song – which captures the uniqueness of loving someone from quarantine with lyrics like"we speak too much/ too many words/ imagined worlds/no space to listen/ I watch you love/ although it hurts/ look away, look away again." While known as an actress, Bela also performed the song"For The Rest of My Life" for the official soundtrack of the 2018 filmBela recently appeared in the ABS-CBN teleseryeOn Vodka, Beers and Regrets
