LG Electronics Philippines commemorated World Environment Day 2024 by launching its impactful 'Life's Good with Recycling ' campaign.The event, held at the LG Electronics Philippines office in collaboration with the Pasig City Community, Environment and National Resources Office , saw a significant turnout of enthusiastic participants dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.
As part of the campaign, which began on Earth Day, April 22, and concluded on June 5, individuals were encouraged to collect plastic waste. The waste collected was processed and recycled through the mobile recovery facility of Pasig Cenro.The campaign's main objectives encompass corporate social responsibility initiatives. Notably, the 1,622.55 kg of collected plastics will be utilized to redeem grocery items for LG's maintenance and support staff.
