LG provided free laundry services to parts of Cainta and Marikina.
LG visited communities of Barangay Planters and Barangay Anak Pawis 2 in Westbank Drive, Cainta, Rizal, from August 1 to 3, and Barangay Malanday in Marikina City, from August 9 to 11 to provide relief assistance following Typhoon Carina.
LG provided a free three-day laundry service and appliance checkup. LG did not elaborate if the appliance checkup is exclusive to the LG brand or if it was open to all. But the main thing here is: LG has set up 11 washer and dryer stations that ran from 8am to 5pm for three days, allowing residents to get their clothes cleaned. Abenson and Smile Serve, LG’s sales and service partners, extended their support to Barangay Planters by donating laundry detergents and fabric conditioners, along with foldable fans.
LG Philippines Managing Director, Nakhyun Seong said: “Through this initiative, we aimed to provide practical help and a sense of comfort to the residents of Cainta and Marikina. It’s our way of showing that LG is a partner in the journey to recovery and resilience.”
