WORTH A CHAT

Re “Trudeau is right on nuclear energy” : In our sprint to net-zero, nuclear energy is certainly worth discussing. That being said, if we are looking to recreate Ontario’s rapid 2003-14 emissions reduction win, natural gases should not have a place alongside it on the starting line. While cleaner than coal , natural gases still emit far more emissions than renewable alternatives and should not be used as a crutch during our transition period away from fossil fuels.
