It is a tenet of Canadian extradition policy that Canadians should not be extradited to face charges that they would not face under Canadian law. If the Jordan rule would excuse Hassan Diab from being prosecuted in Canada, then it seems reasonable that it should protect him from being extradited to France to face egregiously delayed justice in that country.Article content
