ICYMI: LETTER: Remembering Canada's veterans | SaltWire
James Donnelly, grand knight of the Knights of Columbus Father McNeill Council 9025, foreground, and K of C member Simon Lemay pose by the impressive display of wooden crosses that pay tribute to 420 late veterans buried in the North Rustico area. - SaltWire NetworkNovember is upon us with the cold fall air and soon the Remembrance Ceremony on the 11th will take place across Canada and all over the world.
I do invite everybody to come see our project as the crosses will be up for a whole week before. There are a lot of people involved in this project. I would like to thank the maintenance gentleman for the fantastic job that he is doing on keeping the ground impeccably clean. As for myself, a 26-years veteran of several peacekeeping tours, I have witnessed the effects and damages of war can do to a country.
