If it does move, is Metrotown the right location?

My first question is why does Burnaby City Hall need to relocate? Wouldn’t it be more feasible to remain where it is and invest in making it sustainable? However, I do agree that Metrotown is not the place to set their sites as the traffic and parking are a nightmare already.

Someone suggested the Royal Oak and Kingsway location where the former Safeway store once stood. It’s an ideal location for parking and building if this is actually being considered at all, which I’m sure it is.📢 SOUND OFF: What do you think of the idea of a new Burnaby City Hall in the Metrotown neighbourhood? Should city hall stay where it is? Or does a move make sense? Share your thoughts — send us a letter.
