Halifax Mooseheads goaltender Brady James tries to knock the puck away as Victoriaville Tigres forward Maxime Pellerin challenges late in the first period of Friday's QMJHL game at the Scotiabank Centre. - ERIC WYNNE/Chronicle HeraldIt's not like the Halifax Mooseheads were going to go undefeated for the whole season but the players don't feel like they should have a loss on their record just yet.
"We missed a lot of details out there and we played well for one period but the other periods we weren't our best.""I think we just got outworked and we weren't disciplined at all," Halifax winger Jordan Dumais said."They scored on their opportunities and that cost us the game. For a team that expects to contend for a QMJHL title this year, the loss might turn into a valuable learning experience. There are plenty of young players in the group who are still finding their way in the league so they'll see now how slim the margin for error is.
