The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo clapped back at presidential spokesperson Harry Roque for asking critics, especially the opposition, to set aside politics amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Robredo’s spokesperson Barry Gutierrez reacted to Roque’s remark by posting on Twitter the recent events that transpired during the public health crisis to show that politics has not been set aside.

Gutierrez, who is also a legal adviser to Robredo, turned the tables on Roque after he said the opposition should avoid politicizing the government’s COVID-19 response. “The IATF should take a second look at what they’ve done. They should review their performance and find out how they can be more effective. What did Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam do that we failed to do?” Drilon said of the IATF.
