Actress and model Lauren Young took to social media to ask her followers if Chinese-only restaurants are legal. | KAguilarINQ

“Is this even legal?” Young captioned the photo posted via her Twitter account.

“My fave resto in Subic has been sold and this sign is up. I really want to know if business owners are allowed to do this,” she added. Young also asked if she would be allowed to put up a restaurant exclusive for dogs and Filipinos only. “If I had a restaurant am I allowed to put up these signs for example: ‘Only for dog Customers’ ‘Only for Filipino Customers’ LMK [Let me know],” Young sarcastically said.The Department of Trade and Industry ordered the city government to suspend the food park’s operations after discovering it did not have necessary documents, including business permits.
