Tactical and investigation units were stationed at the Old Garden River Road apartment as officers dealt with a situation inside

A substantial number of emergency vehicles and personnel were stationed outside one of the apartments at the Cara Community Corporation late Tuesday night.

Several police cruisers, as well as a tactical unit and an investigation vehicle, were parked near the entranceway of the Old Garden River Road apartment complex.Activity outside the building was limited as several officers exited the apartment and appeared to be wrapping up around 11:45 p.m. Most of the emergency services had left the scene shortly before midnight.We will update this story as more information becomes available.
