The Las Piñas City government is continuously addressing concerns about cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the city. On Tuesday, June 9, the city recorded 14 recoveries, considered the highest, surpassing the previous number of 13, which was set last May 27.

According to Las Piñas City Health Office chief Dr. Ferdinand Eusebio, the 14 recovered patients came from the barangays of Almanza Uno, Almanza Dos, Pamplona Dos, Manuyo Uno, Manuyo Dos, Talon Dos, Pamplona Tres, Pulanglupa Uno, and Pamplona Uno.

He cited the local government’s proper handling of the expanded targeted testing and focusing on the health protocol that safeguarded the health of the residents during this crisis. Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar was relieved upon hearing the good news on the high number of recoveries from COVID-19.
