The cities of Las Piñas and Pasay joined the observance of “Earth Hour” on Saturday, March 25. ManilaBulletin

ñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar invited residents to switch off their lights and non-essential appliances for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to partake in the global initiative of protecting Mother Earth and fighting climate change.

In Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the observance of Earth Hour is in line with the local government’s active programs in protecting and preserving the environment. Rubiano said businesses, households, and communities were invited to participate to contribute to positive conservation efforts for our planet.
