The city government of Las Piñas hosted a birthday party for two kids whose houses were destroyed by fire at Juluis Compound in Barangay Pulanglupa Uno on Nov. 18.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar threw a party for the birthday of Nathan Acrobilla and Samuel Adolfo who were among the 80 families who lost their homes to the fire. Vice Mayor April Aguilar joined the fun in the kiddie party of Arcobilla and Adolfo on Friday, Nov. 25. The vice mayor said Jolibee packed meals, loot bags were distributed to families who were staying at Mapayapa Village covered court.She said the city government decided to host the party for the two kids, who were celebrating their natal day on Saturday, Nov. 26, to boost their morale amidst their situation.
The city government earlier extended assistance to the fire victims. They were given family food packs, mats and blankets, and hygiene kits.
