Lagon clarified that he has been a gamefowl breeder since 1998 and that his engagement in e-sabong was limited to a legal partnership with Lucky 8 Star Quest Inc., a company authorized by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation to operate internet-based betting under national regulations. He said he has always participated in the sport of cockfighting within the bounds of the law and emphasized that his involvement focused on responsible breeding, ethical training and legal derbies.
