Senator Panfilo Lacson is certain Vice President Leni Robredo and Atty. Jose Montemayor will not be endorsed by President Rodrigo Duterte as his successor.
CAUAYAN, Isabela—
“I’ve learned to read between the lines every time he says something,” Sotto said, adding that he had been friends with Duterte since 1988.“Lahat ng endorsements welcome, lahat ng endorsements good, ‘wag lang sa demonyo. Local government officials nag-endorse, good, especially ‘pag presidente ang nag-eendorse, that is really good,” Lacson said.
Based on their experience from the ground, Lacson said most of the local government officials are waiting for the endorsement of Duterte before they officially declare their support for a candidate. They started their day by joining Cauayan Mayor Bernard Faustino Dy and the local officials in their flag ceremony.
