La Salle then managed to control the match and led 20-16 but a service error put Adamson within three.
Malaluan had 16 points from 13 attacks and two aces, while Canino added 15 points along with six digs. After an explosive 33-point outing in her debut, Nitura still led the Lady Falcons with 16 points, while Frances Mordi added 12 points as Adamson slipped to 1-1.Earlier, the Golden Tigresses defeated the University of the East, 28-26, 22-25, 25-23, 25-15.
