MANILA, Philippines: The defending champs De La Salle Lady Spikers ripped the UP Fighting Maroons, 25-15, 25-17, 25-18, to claim their third straight win in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, March 10.

Reigning MVP Angel Canino racked up 16 points on top of seven excellent digs and four receptions to lead the Lady Spikers, who rose to solo second place with a 5-1 slate.Shevana Laput and Thea Gagate aided Canino with nine and eight points, respectively, while Lyka De Leon took care of the floor defense department with 13 digs and nine receptions.Joan Monares notched nine points, receptions, and seven digs for the Fighting Maroons who stayed winless at 0-5.
