The court imposed a 12-year weapons prohibition against Robinson, and he has been ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with the complainant while he is serving his sentence.Kings and West Hants court report: March 14, 2023Cody Vincent Davidson, 29, of Kentville, has been sentenced to jail time after pleading guilty to 10 charges.
Davidson committed the offences in Kentville on June 20 and between Nov. 1 and Dec. 11, 2020; and on Nov. 26, 2022; and in North Alton on Dec. 24, 2022. Serroul committed the offence in Scotch Village on Aug. 1, 2021. Another count of assaulting a police officer engaged in the execution of his duty and a charge of willfully obstructing a police officer engaged in the execution of his duty were dismissed on March 20.Scott Ernest Taylor, 50, of no fixed address, has been sentenced to time deemed served for stealing a motor vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado truck, and for stealing a cash machine and cash of a value exceeding $5,000.
Upshaw pleaded not guilty to the assault charge on Oct. 5, 2021. Upshaw’s trial began on July 19, 2022, continued Aug. 18, 2022, and Jan. 27. The trial concluded on Feb. 27. On March 20, a decision was delivered, and Upshaw was found guilty.
